D.J. B-RAD.....
My niece Mackenzie Drake (now Owens) got married this weekend in Centerville in the same Church that Shawn and I tied the knot in 25 years ago, July 25th.
The reception was held in a BRAND NEW barn, located on HWY 2, just outside of Centerville, built especially for weddings and meetings, and MAN IS IT COOL!
The D.J. they wanted couldn't do it, but had an extra set of speakers he said they could borrow if they could find someone with a Mac computer and iTunes......Hello Uncle Brad. I had a great time doing it and thank God my kids buy alot of music weekly. Never thought I'd say THAT!
I had my camera along so I snapped some pics of this barn that's straight out of the movie "Sweet Home Alabama" for you. Congrats Mac and Josh.

REALLY, REALLY, EERRRRRYYYYY...
I was just sittin' here in the office working.....thinking about my ole' buddy Mark Peason's death, and thought I'd Google it to see if there was any new news.
It seems as though nearly one month to the date (May 5th, 2012), at the age of 56, ANOTHER Mark Pearson in Louisiana passed away.
If your name happens to be Mark Pearson.....I'd be gettin' RIGHT with GOD REAL QUICK!
All of Iowa AG is flat out in shock. He is GREATLY MISSED.

I had a V.I.P. stop by the house this morning on her way to work (only a 5hr drive). Crystal (Young) Blin aka @crystalcattle, spokesperson for Vitaferm Sure Champ, and I filmed a little promo piece for the Hereford Jr. Natl's coming up in about a month.
I put her through rigorous, multiple takes......and she never once took a swing at me!

In Memory of Mark Pearson.
Tragic news of the death of legendary ag broadcaster Mark Pearson came across Twitter. WOW. Mark was a great man and friend. Always looked forward to chatting with him at the Ia State Fair. Prayers for his family. He was only 54 and died of a heart attack.

Fly By....While @JBR.
This plane flew over the pen while picturing at JBR's. The quality of cameras we have now still amazes me.
If you'll look REAL CLOSE, I'm pretty sure that's Tommy Matthew's piloting the spy ship, checking out this falls sale competition......and since the plane is rocking to the right I'm pretty sure that's Knudson in the passenger seat. LOL
