Just got word that a good friend of mine was driving his BRAND NEW Chevy pickup and cattle trailer down the highway, when a COMBINE decided to BLOW through a stop sign and T-BONE him!
I texted him on the way to the hospital and told him that he could borrow my "FORD" (Fix Or Repair Daily) pickup......BUT, I wanted it back in the same shape as his was NOW!
Sounds like he got pretty lucky.....just a banged up left elbow and knee (he thinks). He thought the pickup and trailer were BOTH total'd.
As the sargeant on the old TV show "Hill Street Blues" used to say......"LETS BE CAREFUL OUT THERE!" I know its a BUSY time of the year for nearly ALL of us in agriculture. Take a deep breath, calm your nerves, pay attention and LIVE to WORK another day. (No charge for the advice...I'm sure you really wanted to hear it right now.)
