NEW Poll....What's UR Favorite Form of ICE?
It's supposed to get hotter than blue blazes here tomorrow, so with that in mind I open a new poll based on how you're going to cool your beverage and in what form it will be..... crushed or cubed?
Welcome Back 2 Me.
OK......this time it hasn't been ALL my fault for the lack of updates.
Our county's wireless server got knocked out some how and we didn't have any internet from Friday night to Monday night.
I had the shakes like a junkie in rehab......lol, but I've got some pretty good stuff to update you with.
First, the STOCK SHOW U videos that I've been bustin' my rear on and FINALLY FINISHED!

The "VACATIONERS"
Last week "Uncle Dave and Aunt Keta" (my sister) took the kids on vacation for a week.
They went to Nebraska and stayed at Fort Robinson, and visited other sites. The kids had a blast, the parents left at home had a blast, and the Aunt and Uncle......yet to be determined. lol
They've been doing this for years, and always come back for more. Slow learners, I guess.

STUNNING Show Cattle Appareal.
I'd bet that those shorts will come back in style about the same time that 9 frame, red and white Simmental steer does too.
I won't mention which brother-in-law this is!
My Old A.I. Machine.
We were going through a BUNCH of old pictures at the in-laws house and I found a picture of Shawn's Chevette that was her first car.
She still had it when we got married, and I turned it into my "A.I. Machine" for all my "Pasture to Purple" herds back then. It had a hatchback and worked absolutely perfect for that.....and you know that gas HAD to be expensive back then.......at least $2.oo a gallon probably. lol
I was driving home one night from a board meeting in Corydon(worked for an insurance company) when a deer jumped out in front of me, and the Chevette ended up on the bad end of the deal. TOTAL'D!
I had the window down with my arm out, 'cause it was hot and it had NO air conditioning. The deer smashed the windshield and then scraped down the drivers side of the car. When I finally got out of the vehicle, there was deer manure between my back and the drivers seat. My white dress shirt was PROOF!
We won't talk about my underwear......lol.
Fathers Day @ Honey Creek Resort....Potty Humor.
I couldn't help but notice the cutting edge bathroom stool flushing handles when I was in there, and EVIDENTLY I didn't read it close enough according to my wife who had noticed them also.
It says to turn the handle up for #1 and down for #2 (to save water of course).
WELL, I got confused, turned it the WRONG way.........and BLEW s**t EVERYWHERE!
Now that's FUNNY....I don't care who you are.
Promo Video Gonna b Cool.
I've been smoked with corporate video work lately, trying to claw my way back to being half way caught up.....but I'm NOT.
The Stock Show U promo vid is close to being done.....and it is COOL!
Will let you know when completed.

Welcome Back 2 Me.
Hey guys, sorry for the lack of posts, I've been missing in action.
I spent all weekend at Sullivan's Stock Show U event, and MAN was it something. About 3X more people showed up than expected, but it all went off perfectly.
I'll be working on some promo videos of that event here in the near future. I got some really COOL pics, and video. Should be fun.
I also shot some product video and pics for some NEAT new deals Sullivan's have come up with, that will help showcase them.
More on this later.

REALLY Pimped OUT Pig Trailer.
This trailer is AMAZING.....and YES that's a television mounted on the outside of the nose, complete with a little kid sitting in a chair watching it.
Waterers, feeders, and everything you need already installed.
NICE! .....and only $39,000.
Lotsa FREE BBQ'd Pork.
Walking down the main street of the fairground's where ALL the hospitality tents are set up, there is a ton of free samples to be had.....and they ARE AWESOME.
Our favorite was the new "HOG WINGS" that Land O Lakes are promoting. Like a buffalo wing, but about the size of a chicken leg and ALL tender meat.
Thanks to Leslie Ruby and their hospitality tent for the key find.
The picture above is a random grill I thought was cool.

Polo Star Teams With Lab to Clone Best Horses
(NEWSER) – One of Argentina's top polo players has formed an alliance with a US genetics lab to create clones of his top polo horses, a move that threatens to revolutionize the competitive "sport of kings," reports theGuardian. "Throughout the sport everybody's talking about what's going to happen with cloning. There is a big internal debate," said the president of the veterinary commission of an Argentine breeders association.
Top polo horses are usually castrated, so they cannot breed. The clone of a top mare fetched $800,000 at an auction in Argentina last year. Cloning thoroughbreds started in 2003, and show jumpers in 2006, but this is the first major push in polo. But experts say that genetics account for just 30% of a horse's performance, so even copying the perfect horse does not guarantee success on the field. And as the newly cloned horses will not be ready for competition until 2015, there is still plenty of time for the polo leagues to create rules on cloning science. One of the first issues: Should cloned animals be identified as such in competitions?
Embarrassing Dad Waves at Son's Bus in 170 Costumes
(NEWSER) – If embarrassing your teenage son was an Olympic sport, Utah dad Dale Price would win the gold medal. After learning that his 16-year-old son Rain's school bus route would pass the family home, Price decided to come out and wave at the bus every day—wearing a different costume each time. The 170 home-made costumes Price donned over the school year, documented at Wave At The Bus, included Star Wars characters, a chicken, Michael Jackson, and even a wedding dress complete with bouquet.
Price says he got the idea for the costumes after his son asked him and his mother not to wave at the school bus. "I hope this lives with him for the rest of his life," he tells the Deseret News. "He can use it against his kids and tell them, 'If you think you are embarrassed by me, you should have seen your grandfather.'" Rain, meanwhile, is probably relieved that his dad isn't planning to wave at the bus next year, although according to his father, the teen has already threatened to do the same thing to his own children.
Woman Fired Over Tweet
(NEWSER) – Social media's hottest life-wrecker has claimed another one: A Pennsylvania social media specialist was fired after tweeting that her government co-workers leave work early to play golf, reports the Morning Call. Vanessa Williams got a pink slip from the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corp. in part because of a tweet she posted Friday from the agency’s account that read, "We start summer hours today. That means most of the staff leave at noon, many to hit the links. ..."
The agency’s CEO was less than pleased, saying, "I think this is an interesting lesson for all of us about the use of social media … how much information goes out there immediately and what the consequences are." He added that employees may leave early on Fridays only when they’ve otherwise completed 40 hours of work, a summer policy that has been in place for several years.
Banks Lose Fight Over Debit Card Fees
(AP) – The Senate voted today to let the Federal Reserve slice the fees that stores must pay banks each time a customer swipes a debit card, handing merchants a victory over banks in a lobbying battle over billions in revenue. Senators supporting the banks' efforts to head off the proposal fell six votes short of the 60 needed to prevail. The vote was 54-45. The tally was a triumph Sen. Richard Durbin of Illinois, the No. 2 Democratic leader who had muscled a provision into last year's financial overhaul law requiring the Fed to offer a plan for limiting the fees.
Those charges now average 44 cents per transaction and mean $16 billion annually for banks and credit card companies, according to Federal Reserve data. The Fed has proposed holding those fees to a maximum of 12 cents per swipe. By law, a final rule must take effect on July 21. While it might still be changed, few expect it to differ dramatically from the current proposal. Montana Democrat Jon Tester led the fight to delay the rules.
Weiner's Wife Is Pregnant
(NEWSER) – Normally, word that a congressman's wife is pregnant is not national news, but we remain in the Anthony Weiner worm hole. Yes, his 35-year-old wife, Huma Abedin, is in the early stages of pregnancy with their first child. The news comes not from a tabloid but from the New York Times, which quotes three sources. It adds that Abedin left today on a State Department trip to North Africa with Hillary Clinton.
My Endorsement of Schaefer Fans.....Kinda.
Matt Rohrbach, Shaefer fan dealer and pro show calf vender, took this picture as an endorsement. I really didn't care what kind of fan it was, just as long as it was ON!
Man, it was hot in NW Ia this past weekend, and they made me break my clippers out of retirement to help. The only problem with this is that I'm OLD and FAT, and thought I was going to pass out in that heat.
p.s......I did like the fan though, and NO I didn't feel sorry for the calves I pushed out of the way. lol
