Congratulations to our Wayne High Boys Basketball team on last nights tough win, and advancing to the District Championship FINALS!
A cool fact about last nights game is that Coachs for BOTH teams were at the Iowa Beef Expo all weekend gettin' cattle ready! Wayne's assistant, Jason Allen, and Moulton's head coach Brent Martsching. Moulton's assistant coach is a real stud too.....he's my NEPHEW, Denver Walker.
It was an action packed game with Wayne being down 10 points in the first half but coming back to win. ONLY 3 Wayne fans got ejected from the ball game. Slow night. I know refs are only human, but WOW, there was some BAD calls last night.
There's nothing like a high school ball game or a county fair livestock show to get the natives fired up.....yours truly included. Sure is FUN...... and GOOD for communities.
